Mental health therapist
The Center is seeking a mental health therapist to provide services to children, teens, adults, and families, with a focus on mental health challenges and overall well-being. Prior experience with children and teens is recommended. Trauma and grief experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based therapy, including cognitive behavioral therapy and behavioral therapy, tailored to each client.
- Maintain documentation in compliance with HIPAA and protect confidentiality.
- Engage in child and family counseling.
- Help clients build coping skills and emotional regulation.
- Track progress and adjust treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other professionals to coordinate care.
- Stay current, including updates related to ICD-10 coding.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field.
- Valid licensure as a mental health therapist.
- Experience with documentation and assessment.
- Familiarity with child and family counseling is desirable.
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy and behavior management is a plus.
- A working understanding of HIPAA and a commitment to confidentiality.
Job types: full-time, part-time
Pay: $62,000–$65,000 per year

Internships
Graduate interns meet with clients individually, assist in running grief support groups, receive individual supervision, and learn non-profit operations. A commitment to two consecutive semesters is expected.
